I almost missed the tip off between the Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks… some guy in a removalist van parked my car in and it took almost an hour to get out.
I managed to make it on time and was settled in my seat for the start of the game. I am now a Bulls fan, so I wasn’t too fussed with who won this game. I was cheering on Toronto because they were the home team – but really I just wanted to watch a good game.
The video below was the play of the day. I had bought a Raptors jersey for the nephew because it had a dinosaur on it and the local kids had told me that DeRozan’s jersey was the one to get, so I was hoping for something good from him and he delivered.

Also the mascot was hilarious… Again, Australian mascots take note – violence is OK especially when there are people in sumo suits around.
In the end the Raptors lost by 2, but it was a good game and came down to the last few seconds. The skill level seemed way higher than the Bulls/Timberwolves game – some amazing plays by both teams.
