Holy Crepe

My favourite food overseas is usually the local native animal. And the more endangered the species, the better it tastes. But the thing I kept going back for in Paris was their version of the egg and bacon roll.

The Mixte Crepe (ham, cheese and egg) was my normal brekky. I’d grab one on the way to the metro and that kept me going for most of the day.

You can see in the first photo that there were also options for sweet crepes instead of savoury ones. Nutella was my flavour of choice for the sweet crepe.

It seems as though the art of the crepe is in the folding. The finished product seems to have layers of crepe and filling. If you don’t do it right, it is nothing more than a pancake.
