I have never seen my team win a game in the U.S and tonight was no different. After two quick goals early in the first period, the Bruins had nothing and the Colorado Avalanche ended up scoring three goals to win the game. The game was great fun though, I got to see a couple of fights (let’s face it, it’s why you go and watch ice hockey) and it was non-stop action.
I was too slow to get photos of the fights, but even though the Bruins didn’t win the hockey game, they smashed the Avalanche when it counted. I did manage to get the aftermath of one of the fights though – this guy was helped to the penalty box by the ref because he was a bit wobbly after being taught his lesson.
During one of the breaks, I went to get some food. The pizza they were selling was longer than my forearm. I put my phone alongside to show just how big it was. My guess is that the pizza comes out of the oven at about 30 inches in diameter (that’s about 75cm for those of you without a calculator).
